Head of Sales & Marketing (Digital News)

As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence in the digital news space as the Head of Sales & Marketing at our organization. Your primary focus will be on leading monetization strategies across English and 12 Indian languages for our multilingual digital news platform. Your key responsibilities will include achieving a 25% YoY revenue growth target and developing at least 3 new revenue streams annually. You will also be expected to expand our market presence in a minimum of 5 regional language markets. Leading a high-performing sales team and reducing attrition rate to below 15% will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will need to build strategic national & regional partnerships to drive business growth and execute language-specific marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility. Data-driven decision-making and optimization of digital monetization strategies will also be integral to your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this position is a revenue-driven strategist with over 10 years of experience in sales & marketing leadership within the digital news or digital publishing industry. You should possess expertise in multilingual markets, digital advertising, and content monetization. Being a dynamic leader who can effectively build and manage multilingual teams is essential. Experience in using CRM and marketing automation tools for data-driven decision-making is a must. Furthermore, a proven track record of securing major accounts through relationship-building will be highly valued. This position is based on-site in Hyderabad.
