As a Safety Management System (SMS) Specialist in our company, your role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's Safety Management System in compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with industry regulations and best practices. - Ensuring compliance with all aviation safety regulations and standards. - Conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, safety training, and safety audits. - Liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring timely reporting of safety-related information. - Providing regular updates to the Aviation Operating Board on safety performance and initiatives. To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria: - Retired pilot with extensive experience in aviation operations. - In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations and safety management systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Ability to foster a safety-oriented culture within the organization.
