Location: Bangalore, KA, IN

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Head of Risk [ Credit and Operational] to be based out of our head office at Bengaluru India. This role is responsible for end to end credit life cycle including:

• Owning the Credit Risk policy for the company
• Developing new product programs for each segment [ Retailer, Trader, Exporter etc.,]
• Engage with Business units in building innovative risk solutions to expand the market
• Create and Manage the overall underwriting processes [ Manual and automated]
• Effective monitoring of portfolio to ensure the losses are within the permissible limits
• Provides guidance to the team, performance evaluation
• Collaborate with external lending partners in co-creating programs
• Ensure adherence to partner SLAs and create a symbiotic relationship

• Looking for someone with 15+ years of risk underwriting experience ideally in the MSME segment (either in banks or NBFCs)-
• Built new products and seen growth cycles in the company while balancing NPAs
• Should have a technology mindset to drive the right customer experience and enable collections / risk management at scale using automated processes
• Should have a view of collections and feed that intelligence into risk modelling and building new products
• Worked closely with the product and technology team in building data driven credit evaluation products
• Built relationships with key public and private stakeholders such as business partners, bureaus, tech startups, and international corporations and create a network of reliable business partners and other key players in the financial ecosystem.
• Has a good understanding of Indian market in terms of products and competitors
• Comfortable in a fast- paced, start-up environment.
