Job Description

Role Overview: You have been offered a challenging and future-oriented role as a Head of PLM and Strategy in the Switching Products and BIC* department at Siemens Energy. In this position, you will be responsible for driving a strong culture of accountability, execution, collaboration, and customer focus across the Siemens Energy businesses. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic planning, market intelligence, portfolio direction, and long-term growth initiatives to ensure sustainable growth by aligning technology, product roadmap, regional expansion, and competitive positioning. - Conduct market mapping activities such as market survey, demand analysis, and expanding access to market and customer data for both domestic and export markets. - Analyze potential key customers, competition, and business models for growth in coordination with Offer Management. - Manage the complete portfolio lifecycle, including maintaining the portfolio database, documenting product changes, and conducting product gap analysis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape technology roadmaps, evaluate new business models, and prepare business cases for new product development or customization. - Drive the localization of the Digital Portfolio in collaboration with Global functions, explore local markets for promoting Digital Portfolio, and develop a niche industry segment for digital offerings. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering. - Minimum 20 years of working experience. - Strong experience in market mapping, demand analysis, competition benchmarking, and analyzing potential key customers and business models for growth. - Proven track record in portfolio management, including product lifecycle management, product gap analysis, and cost benchmarking. - Expertise in developing detailed business cases for new product developments and collaborations across multiple functions. - Experience in product development, market penetration, and reverse engineering. - Global collaboration experience, working with global R&D teams and aligning with international market needs. - Proficiency in promoting and localizing digital portfolios, developing sustainable business plans for digital offerings. - Skilled in conducting workshops, presentations, and training sessions for internal teams and customers. - Strong networking and stakeholder management abilities to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
