Description
The Head of Media will be responsible for overseeing the company's operations in India, driving business growth, strategizing marketing initiatives, and leading a diverse team. You will create and execute customized marketing strategies tailored to resonate with the Indian market, driving brand engagement and customer loyalty. Your role will involve accelerating revenue growth through the development and execution of initiatives that boost revenue streams and identify new business opportunities. Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners will be crucial to enhance collaboration and maximize business potential. As the Head of Media, you will inspire and lead the local team by fostering a dynamic work environment, mentoring, and motivating team members to achieve ambitious business objectives and exceed performance targets. Conducting market analysis to continuously analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, and the competitive landscape will inform strategic decisions and help optimize marketing efforts. You will drive the strategic vision of the company by translating the company's vision into actionable plans, setting priorities that align with overall business goals. Your responsibilities will also include establishing clear team objectives by setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals for the team to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic direction. Enforcing operational compliance and ensuring that all team members adhere to established processes and best practices will be essential for maintaining efficiency and quality in operations. Monitoring and guaranteeing compliance with local regulations and internal company policies to mitigate risk and uphold the company's integrity will also be part of your role. Acting as a company ambassador, you will represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, promoting brand visibility and fostering valuable connections. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. You should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, along with a proven track record of success in managing country-level operations. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities are essential. Additionally, a strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, trends, and tools, as well as previous hands-on experience on the platforms, is preferred.
