Head of Engineering

As the Director/Head of Engineering at SIDGS, you will be leading a high-performing global engineering team organized around PODs and shared service towers. Your strategic leadership in a professional services setting will involve overseeing multi-disciplinary teams covering domains such as App Dev, Web Dev, DevSecOps, Cloud, SRE, Data & AI, and Solution Architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a matrixed engineering organization with a focus on alignment across functional engineering towers and shared services. - Mentor Engineering Leads and drive continuous technical and leadership development. - Own end-to-end accountability for engineering deliverables, standards adherence, and oversee operational metrics, DevSecOps pipelines, SRE operations, and cloud infra governance. - Collaborate with Solution Engineering and Sales for pre-sales support, estimation, and proposal development. - Drive adoption of emerging technologies into client solutions, champion reusable reference architectures, and lead Engineering Process Governance & Audit. - Monitor KPIs for engineering productivity, code quality, CI/CD performance, uptime, security compliance, and promote innovation and R&D activities. Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles. - Proven track record of managing geographically distributed engineering teams in a services or consulting firm. - Deep understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD, DevSecOps, SRE tools, full-stack engineering, AI/ML platforms, program/project management acumen. - Experience in solution architecture and client delivery management. - Degree in computer science or related field preferred; certifications in cloud, DevSecOps, or AI/ML are a plus.,
