Having grown from personalized credit consulting in 2023 to empowering over a million users today, the company is now among the fastest-growing credit score and credit management platforms in the country. Backed by top-tier venture funds and consistently ranked among the top finance apps in India, the company is in a rapid scale-up phase and building a strong leadership team to power its 1x to 100x journey. About the Role The VP – Engineering will lead the technology organization, partnering closely with the founder to shape and execute the product and tech roadmap. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution—driving new feature development, system performance, platform scalability, and team development. This is an opportunity to architect and scale a high-impact consumer product while nurturing a high-performing engineering culture. Key Responsibilities Technology Leadership Define and drive the long-term tech vision aligned with product and business goals. Plan and deliver new features, enhancements, and platform improvements. Team Leadership & Development Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team. Establish strong engineering processes, learning pathways, and leadership within the group. Operational Excellence Oversee system stability, performance, uptime, and reliability. Implement best practices across code quality, CI/CD, observability, and incident management. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with product, business, and operations teams to translate ideas into scalable solutions. Ensure seamless execution across projects, integrations, and releases. Requirements 10-15 years of experience with 5+ Years in engineering leadership roles . Proven track record in building and scaling engineering teams of 30+ members. Strong experience working in high-growth startup environments, preferably in B2C product companies with relevant experience in working on high scale platforms . Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier engineering institute. Deep understanding of system architecture, performance tuning, and scalable product development. Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on problem-solving and execution. Comfortable working full-time from the Bellandur, Bangalore office (5 days a week).
