Head of Product & Engineering Position Overview Lead product development initiatives and drive innovation in healthcare equipment manufacturing. End-to-end ownership of product lifecycle from concept to market delivery, with measurable results expected. Key Responsibilities Lead development of healthcare equipment and furniture solutions Implement comprehensive warranty programs and quality systems Drive adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and automation Establish product documentation, testing protocols, and compliance frameworks Lead and mentor team of 4 design engineers Build scalable design processes and cross-functional collaboration Required Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design 6-8 years product design experience, 2-4 years in leadership roles Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, automotive, aerospace) preferred Technical Skills: CAD proficiency (Fusion 360, SolidWorks) Manufacturing processes knowledge (welding, machining, assembly) Understanding of automation, hydraulic/pneumatic systems Regulatory standards and compliance experience Leadership: Team leadership and project management experience Ability to establish design systems and documentation standards Cross-functional collaboration skills Key Performance Targets Launch multiple new products using advanced manufacturing Implement automation for significant manufacturing processes Establish comprehensive documentation and compliance systems Achieve extended warranty program implementation Reduce warranty claims through improved design quality Compensation Salary: ₹9.6-18 lakhs per annum (₹0.80-1.5 LPM) Performance-based incentives Health insurance and professional development benefits Flexible work arrangements Reporting Reports to: Director - Growth Direct Reports: 4 Design Engineers Location: Manufacturing facility with 10-15% travel Job Type: Full-time Pay: From ₹80,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Patancheru, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): Attach the link of your design portfolio.
