Key Skills & Qualifications: 1. Technical Expertise: CAD Software Expertise: Proficiency in jewelry-specific CAD software like Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, AutoCAD, and other design tools. 3D Modeling & Visualization: Ability to create detailed 3D models and render realistic visualizations of jewelry designs. Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Understanding of various jewelry production methods (casting, 3D printing, stone setting, etc.) to ensure designs are manufacturable

. 2. Leadership & Management: Team Leadership: Proven experience in managing, motivating, and developing a team of designers. Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills. Project Management: Experience in managing multiple design projects simultaneously, setting timelines, and ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality. Client Interaction: Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into innovative designs.

3. Design Knowledge: Creative Vision: Strong creative skills and an eye for detail, ensuring designs are aesthetically pleasing and innovative. Material Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of jewelry materials (precious metals, gemstones, etc.) and their characteristics in relation to CAD design.

4. Communication & Collaboration: Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with marketing, production, and sales teams to ensure design alignment with business objectives and production capabilities. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to present and explain technical and design concepts clearly to both clients and team members.

5. Problem-Solving & Technical Skills: Critical Thinking: Ability to identify potential design issues, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure that every design meets the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. CAD Certification or advanced training in software like Rhino, Matrix, or other jewelry design software is highly preferred.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in jewelry CAD design, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Extensive hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD). Experience working closely with production and client-facing teams, particularly in the jewelry manufacturing industry.

Salary Expectations: Mid-Level (CAD Team Lead):. Senior-level (CAD HOD):, depending on location, company size, and experience.

Work Environment: Design Studios or Offices: The CAD HOD typically works in a design studio or office environment but May frequently interact with the production floor and clients. Collaborative Environment: Regular interaction with various departments, including design, production, and client-facing teams.
