Head of Department - Central Solar Module Process

You will be responsible for designing and implementing a stable process across all solar module manufacturing plants. Your role will involve implementing best practices in manufacturing processes and integrating lean manufacturing principles. You will be accountable for establishing and monitoring process parameters for all production stages and driving process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. Collaboration with R&D and engineering teams, such as Production, Quality, and Equipment Maintenance, will be essential to align production processes with technological advancements. Your focus will be on strategizing and improving processes to implement best practices across all solar module manufacturing plants while enhancing competitiveness and cost efficiency. You will need to ensure no output loss and yield loss in case of equipment and raw material changes through effective process interventions. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating new/Alternate BOM development, conducting SPC and process capability analysis, and reducing manual dependencies through digital interventions and overall process enhancements. Monitoring plant performance output, identifying areas of improvement, and minimizing wastages will be crucial aspects of your role. You will be instrumental in delivering on Kaizen and lean sigma initiatives for continuous improvement while fostering a safety culture to ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures. To be eligible for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering and possess 12-20 years of experience in solar PV module manufacturing.
