Head of Contracts

As an experienced professional in the Infrastructure Sector with 7-10 years of overall experience, including 5+ years in the field, your role will revolve around a broad understanding of the Indian Power Industry and its value chain. You will be required to constantly update your knowledge on the power value chain, particularly focusing on renewable sources. Your expertise in financial matters will be crucial as you delve into financial models, cash flows, taxation, and project evaluation. Understanding the nuances of Contracting Frameworks such as EPC and O&M contracts, as well as PPAs, along with their commercial and legal implications, will be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain a broad understanding of the Indian Power Industry and its value chain - Update knowledge on the power value chain, specifically focusing on renewable sources - Analyze financial models, cash flows, taxation, project evaluation - Understand Contracting Frameworks including EPC and O&M contracts, PPAs, and their commercial and legal implications - Stay abreast of the Regulatory framework including tariffs, taxation, insurance, and financial markets - Manage Construction and Asset Management aspects - Evaluate the implications of various financial, legal, and technical aspects on the business - Stay informed about the latest developments in the power sector and industry Qualifications Required: - Professional Qualifications such as LLB, BE, CA+ MBA, etc. - 7-10 years of overall experience with specific experience of 5+ years in the Infrastructure Sector In-depth knowledge and experience in the mentioned areas will be essential for excelling in this role.,
