Head of Construction

As a Civil Engineer with 18-22 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Engineering, your role will involve leading and managing the execution of multistorey group housing projects spanning 5-50 acres. Your responsibilities will include planning estimation, scheduling, team selection, quality & cost control, and ensuring on-time delivery. You are expected to have a proven track record in delivering projects on time. Key Responsibilities: - Analyse and approve estimates, labor rates, item rates, and monitor construction costs. - Develop and implement methods, construction checklists, and conduct periodic audits at the site to ensure adherence to construction guidelines, standards, quality, and safety measures. - Coordinate with consultants, services, and architectural teams to prepare a cost-effective design for easy execution and maintenance. - Hire, coach, and mentor a team of project management engineers. - Audit project compliances as per relevant BIS Codes, NBC guidelines, building bylaws, environmental, and labor laws. - Ensure optimal strength of man, material, and machine on site for timely delivery and monitor daily, monthly reports with periodic site visits. - Utilize hands-on knowledge of ERP software, AutoCAD, MS Projects, and MS Excel effectively. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (full time/regular from REC/Equivalent). - Minimum 5-7 years of site execution experience across multiple locations. - Proficiency in ERP software, AutoCAD, MS Projects, and MS Excel.
