Head of Banking /Finance

Role & responsibilities

Banking & Financial Institution Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior officials and managers across various banks and financial institutions.

Negotiate favorable banking terms, credit facilities, working capital limits, and other financial products.

Manage multiple banking operations, including account setup, cash management, fund transfers, and documentation.

Loan Management & Fundraising:

Strategize, evaluate, and secure loans (term loans, working capital loans, overdraft facilities) from banks and NBFCs.

Prepare financial proposals, loan applications, CMA reports, and project reports for credit appraisal.

Monitor loan disbursement, repayment schedules, interest calculations, and timely EMI/interest payments.

Manage compliance with all loan covenants and reporting requirements.

Refunding & Reconciliation:

Handle refunding of advances, overpayments, or failed transactions with timely resolution.

Ensure accurate documentation and reconciliation of funds related to customers, vendors, and third parties.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth refund processing and tracking.

Treasury & Fund Flow Management:

Manage daily cash flow requirements, allocate funds to departments, and optimize liquidity across the business.

Forecast fund requirements and ensure optimal utilization of company resources.

Financial Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, and banking regulations related to borrowing and foreign transactions.

Prepare MIS reports on fund utilization, banking charges, loan status, and financial ratios for management review.

Coordinate with auditors, legal teams, and compliance departments on finance-related matters.

Team Leadership & Internal Coordination:

Lead and mentor the finance team handling banking, fund management, and loan compliance.

Collaborate with departments like accounts, legal, procurement, and operations to ensure end-to-end financial coordination.

Drive digital finance initiatives for automation of loan, fund tracking, and bank reconciliation
