Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Basic to intermediate understanding of Lead Acid Battery chemistry and materials.
Familiarity with lab-scale battery testing techniques charge/discharge cycles, impedance analysis).
Ability to interpret test data, charts, and performance trends.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Origin, MATLAB) and technical reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Deliverables

Conduct lab experiments and pilot-scale trials to evaluate new materials, additives, or processes.
Support prototype development, electrochemical testing, and validation activities.
Record and analyse experimental data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to senior R&D management.
Analyse critical data related to product field performance and failures including failure modes and analytics related to same
Assist in benchmarking studies of competitor products and new technologies.
Ensure timely execution of test plans aligned with NPD and R&D programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement during trials and scale-up.
Interfacing with customer on NPD and quality complaint related issues.
Prior experience of APQP preparation and submission of Production part approval process
