Lead the New Product Quality Assurance function for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and sensor components. Ensure flawless product launches through robust quality systems, early fault detection, and effective root cause analysis to meet stringent OEM requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Drive New Product Quality development for ADAS and sensor components from prototype to production stage.
Establish quality assurance plans, DFMEA/PFMEA validation, and control systems for new product launches.
Lead fault detection, analysis, and resolution during product trials and ramp-up phases.
Conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvement and defect prevention.
Interface with OEM quality teams (e.g., TATA, Suzuki, Mahindra) to ensure compliance with customer quality standards.
Guide supplier quality and internal manufacturing teams for new component qualification and audits.
Report quality performance metrics and lead initiatives for zero-defect manufacturing.
Qualifications and Experience
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering.
1520 years of experience in Quality Assurance within Tier-1 automotive or sensor/ADAS product manufacturing.
Proven expertise in new product quality systems, RCA methodologies, and customer interaction with major OEMs.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
