Job Description

The Investor Relations (IR) Manager plays a crucial role in serving as the primary point of contact for current and prospective investors, ensuring transparent communication, cultivating strong relationships, and managing the end-to-end investor lifecycle. It is essential to articulate the fund's strategy, performance, and objectives to stakeholders, thereby contributing to its growth and reputation. As an IR Manager, you will lead fundraising efforts, engage and nurture relationships with prospective investors, and raise capital for the private equity fund, both offshore and domestic. Your responsibilities will include developing strategies to deepen engagement with existing investors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention, and implementing a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the firm's business objectives. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective investors, analysts, and key stakeholders, as well as acting as the main point of contact for investor queries and concerns. Additionally, you will coordinate meetings, roadshows, and conferences with investors, analysts, and stakeholders to discuss the firm's performance and outlook. Collaborating with the senior leadership team, you will develop messaging that reflects the company's strategy and growth potential, and address queries while providing updates on fund performance and portfolio entities. Other responsibilities include assisting in conducting research on various tax and regulatory aspects, preparing presentations based on the case facts of each client, and tracking client activities efficiently. You will also drive initiatives to enhance the investor experience, improve communication across business units, and collaborate with internal teams to address regulatory requirements and operational improvements. The ideal candidate for this role should have a CA/MBA/CFA qualification with 7-10 years of experience in Investor Relations or a similar domain. A strong understanding of SEBI regulations and private equity markets, excellent communication, relationship management, and analytical skills are essential. Being detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities, solution-oriented with strong communication skills, and having the temperament to work in teams are key attributes required. Moreover, the ability to interact and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including other business units, teams, and individuals across different levels, is crucial. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and knowledge of dealing with clients efficiently.,
