HEAD FOREX Operations

Job Title: Head Forex Operations
Location: Valapad Experience: 815 Years Job Summary The Head Forex Operations will be responsible for leading and managing all foreign exchangerelated activities, including forex trading, remittances, regulatory compliance, risk management, and customer servicing. The role requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of forex markets, and compliance with RBI and FEMA regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end forex operations, including buying/selling of foreign currency, inward & outward remittances, and cross-border transactions Develop and implement forex strategies to optimize margins and manage currency risks Ensure full compliance with RBI, FEMA, AML, and KYC regulations Monitor forex exposure, exchange rate risks, and hedging activities Build and manage relationships with banks, correspondent banks, and forex partners Lead, mentor, and manage the forex team to ensure operational excellence Approve and monitor forex pricing, limits, and transactions Prepare MIS reports, forecasts, and compliance reports for senior management Identify new business opportunities in forex products and services

Handle audits, inspections, and regulatory queries related to forex
activities Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of forex markets, treasury operations, and international trade finance Hands-on experience with RBI/FEMA guidelines Risk management and analytical skills Leadership and team management capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and compliance orientation Qualification & Experience Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred 815 years of experience in forex operations, treasury, or international banking Prior experience in a bank, NBFC, forex company, or financial institution preferred Compensation Competitive and commensurate with experience
