Head Finance - 6 days working

The person will be responsible for developing financial strategies, ensuring compliance, managing financial reporting, optimizing financial performance, and providing leadership to the finance team.The candidate should have strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to drive growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership

• team.

• Partner with business heads to drive sustainable business growth and profitability.

• Oversee preparation and finalization of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management, statutory bodies, and investors.

• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).

• Lead the annual budgeting and financial forecasting process.

• Analyze financial performance, identify key business drivers, and recommend corrective actions.

• Monitor working capital, manage cash flow, and optimize financial efficiency.

• Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits in a timely and efficient manner.

• Oversee treasury management, banking relationships, and capital structure optimization.

• Manage relationships with investors, auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.

• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

• Deep expertise in financial management, taxation, auditing, budgeting, and financial planning.

• Proficiency in financial systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP systems).

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA qualification.

• 12 + years of post-qualification experience in Finance, preferably in the service based industry.
