Head External Affairs,

Roles and Responsibilites:

• Government & Regulatory Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and local authorities to ensure compliance and advocacy.
• Policy Advocacy: Monitor and influence policy developments relevant to the industry; represent the company in industry forums and public consultations.
• Corporate Communications: Oversee external communication strategies including media relations, press releases, and crisis communication.
• Community Relations: Lead CSR initiatives and community engagement programs to enhance the company’s social license to operate.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all external affairs activities.

Candidate Profile:

• B.E. in any discipline/ Master’s degree in public policy, Political Science, Law, Communications, or related field with 15 years of experience
• Experience in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and government processes
• Crisis management and media handling expertise
