Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Position- Head Engineering Services (Electrical, Mechanical & Utility)-(Designation depend on company's band)

Location: Haryana

Reporting to- Plant Head

Team Size - 160 (Direct +Indirect)

JOB OBJECTIVE: To take overall responsibility for functioning of Engineering services and projects at Plant. To comply with various statutory norms as per MPCB, Factory Rules & Dept of explosives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To Achieve Production Targets in Factories by ensuring Minimal Downtime in Electrical Mechanical & Utility services.
To ensure smooth functioning of all utility / Pollution Control Services at Plant.
To plan activities like Spare Management, preventive maintenance schedules, implementation of CLIT.
To initiate / plan / implement projects for capacity, install pollution control devices to comply with statutory norms.
To achieve savings on account of vendor development, energy savings, planning etc.
Monitoring and control of all expenses in the area of indirect labor, repairs and maintenance, consumables, fuel, overtime.
To ensure meeting of the legal requirements, consent compliance, statutory legal returns and maintain cordial relations with various government agencies.
To initiate immediate action in case of violations if any.
To coordinate with vendors, logistics to develop local spares.
To assess competency of subordinates, training needs and arrange for training

Preferred candidate profile

Must have experience in Large Plant.

Should have exposure in Automation, PLC, Robotics.

Must have leadership qualities- must have handled large team.

Must have expertise to handle projects and pollution related activities.

Must have liaisoning power with external agencies.

Must be receptive.

Must have utility problem handling skills.
