Job Description: Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent 15-20 years' experience in Detailed Engineering of Oil and Gas Projects, both Onshore and Offshore, out of which 10 years in Senior position Specific skills and knowledge: Good verbal and written communication, presentation Multi-Discipline exposure and knowledge of Oil and Gas Processing Units. Solid and diversified Engineering / technical background. Good Planning skills. Knowledge of relevant Codes, design software, and EDMS. High degree of proficiency in MS Office packages - Excel, Word, Power Point; knowledge of Primavera software for Planning is an added advantage. Briefing of duties and responsibilities: Involve in selecting the Engineering Consultant Prepare the Scope Matrix (Split of Responsibilities with Engineering Consultants) before award of Contract. Participate in KOM. Approve Master Deliverable Register (MDR) and Engineering Documents Register (EDR). Coordinate with Engineering Consultants for Deliverables. Review and approval of Engineering Deliverables. Suggest Optimization of engineering as per good engineering practice Attend weekly engineering meetings with client and resolve technical issues. Support Project Manager with reports in weekly progress meetings. Identify the priority documents and procedures and submit the same in time. Identify and follow up the 'Long Lead Items and expedite related documents. Approve Master Deliverable Register (MDR) and Engineering Documents Register (EDR). Coordinate with Engineering Consultants for Deliverables. Review and approval of Engineering Deliverables. Suggest Optimization of engineering as per good engineering practice Attend weekly engineering meetings with client and resolve technical issues. Follow up to ensure that the project queries are addressed effectively. Ensure that the latest revision of documents is issued for Construction. Ensure that the Construction Team uses the 'Master Copy' of documents for red mark-ups. Follow up with Discipline Engineers on Site Visits and ensure that Construction Team executes the work as per Approved-for-Construction' (AFC) Drawings Ensure that SPIR (Spare Parts Interchangeability Records) packages are identified early in the Project, prepared and approved well ahead of final documentation. Ensure that conflicts are discussed with the Engineering Manager and resolved In time. Ensure adequate Engineering support during Pre-commissioning and Commissioning. Coordinate "As-Built' Documentation preparation as per red mark-ups for Client approval. Ensure that site queries are cleared in time

Engineering Head (Solar EPC) - Mumbai We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Head to lead our clients Solar EPC engineering function across rooftop and ground-mounted projects. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in solar project design, quality assessment, and execution, coupled with strong proficiency in solar design software and tools. As a core leadership member, the incumbent will shape technical strategies, ensure design optimization, and uphold the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Design & Engineering Lead and review engineering designs for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems. Optimize system layout, equipment sizing, and generation projections using tools like PVsyst, ARKA Helioscope, SketchUp, and AutoCAD. Approve final drawings (SLDs, GA, stringing diagrams) and BOQs before execution. 2. Quality Assurance & Compliance Define quality control processes during design, procurement, and installation phases. Ensure compliance with relevant codes (IS, IEC) and statutory requirements (DISCOM, CEIG, MNRE). Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions on site issues. 3. Project Execution & Management Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering packages. Provide technical guidance to site teams during construction and commissioning. Track project progress, resolve technical bottlenecks, and ensure documentation. 4. Team Leadership & Mentorship Build and mentor a team of solar design engineers and project engineers. Conduct technical trainings and maintain knowledge repositories of standards and templates. Evaluate team performance and promote a culture of innovation and efficiency. 5. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with procurement, sales, finance, and client teams to ensure alignment. Review vendor technical specifications and support in vendor evaluation. Represent engineering in client discussions, audits, and reviews. Candidate Details Qualifications & Experience: Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy. Experience: Minimum 8 years in Solar EPC, with exposure to both rooftop and utility-scale (ground-mounted) projects. Software Skills: PVsyst, ARKA Helioscope, AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Project / Primavera. Strong understanding of BIS / IEC standards and grid connectivity norms.
