Located in Punjab’s Mansa district, Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd. (TSPL) represents the largest private thermal power facility in North India, with an installed capacity of 1980 MW, contributing nearly 30% of the state’s electricity demand. Meenakshi Energy Ltd. (MEL) in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district has a capacity of 1000 MW, while Vedanta Ltd. Chhattisgarh Thermal Power Plant (VLCTPP) in Singhitarai village, Sakti district, is a 1200 MW coal-based thermal power plant. Together, these plants reflect Vedanta Power’s commitment to powering progress through high-performance assets and regional impact.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal resource utilization to minimize downtime and maximize E&I Plant availability as per Business Plan.
• Develop and execute spare planning strategies, prepare budgets, and plan projects aimed at improving equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct testing and maintenance of relays and protection systems, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure all electrical work adheres to performance standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain and optimize critical electrical equipment, including generators and excitation systems.
• Ensure adherence to the Indian Electricity (IE) Rules and ensure their proper implementation on-site.
• Utilize SAP for efficient planning and management of electrical maintenance activities.

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
• 6-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance
• Proficiency in SAP for managing maintenance schedules, inventory, and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges
