Head Designing

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the design department.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and budgets.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in design engineering and construction technology.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and project updates.
• Collaborate with client engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project designing solution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess design specifications.
• Review and approve design plans, calculations, and specifications.
• Utilize advanced design software and tools to enhance design accuracy and efficiency.
• Integrate sustainable design practices into structural solutions.
• Oversee the development of designs for various projects, ensuring they meet all safety, performance, and aesthetic requirements.
• Resolve technical issues that arise during production as well as installation.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients during project planning and execution.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAP2000.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Expertise in advanced structural analysis and design techniques
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholder

Experience

• 20-25 years of experience.
• Extensive experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale construction projects.
