Job Description

We are seeking a Head Content Manager who will drive operational excellence, optimize processes, and ensure that all departments consistently achieve their performance targets. The Content Manager will oversee managerial efficiency, strengthen workflow execution, and implement systems that enhance speed, quality, and output across the organization.

Role & Responsibilities:


Operational Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Build, refine, and document workflows, SOPs, and quality checkpoints for all departments.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement improvements proactively.
  • Look forward to introducing new tools, systems, and automation to enhance speed, quality, and consistency.
  • Ensure processes support media and YouTube best practices.

Performance, KRIs & Target Tracking

  • Define, track, and analyze KRIs and KPIs for all teams.
  • Monitor manager performance: timely meetings, follow-ups, reporting, and action completion.
  • Ensure all departments meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.
  • Flag delays, risks, and performance issues early and deploy corrective actions.
  • Maintain accountability for output quality, speed, and delivery standards.

Media & YouTube Operations Oversight

  • Oversee the scripting, production, editing, QA, and publishing workflows.
  • Track YouTube metrics: CTR, retention, watch time, consistency, and publishing quality.
  • Drive initiatives to improve content quality, production efficiency, and channel performance.
  • Stay updated on media trends and YouTube algorithm changes to guide teams strategically.

Team Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Ensure seamless coordination between writers, editors, production, managers, and QA teams.
  • Bring clarity on role ownership and cross-team responsibilities.
  • Conduct leadership reviews with managers and ensure timely execution of decisions.
  • Support the CEO with structured weekly operational updates and insights.

Creativity, Innovation & Initiatives

  • Regularly propose creative and operational improvements to enhance viewer engagement and team productivity.
  • Launch strategic initiatives that improve channel performance, workflow efficiency, and content innovation.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement across departments.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Must have complete knowledge of media and YouTube operations (content, production, editing, optimization, analytics).
  • 5+ years of total experience, with 2-3 years specifically in media/YouTube companies.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs/KRIs, operations, team management, and performance systems.
  • Proven ability to optimize processes, lead teams, and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to bring new ideas and initiatives.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
