Head – City Civil Infrastructure

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished professional to head the City Civil Infrastructure vertical. The role will oversee planning, design, and integration of civil infrastructure across urban development projects, including roads, drainage, utility networks, and public spaces. The position demands expertise in sustainable urban development, smart technologies, and modern construction practices to deliver resilient and future-ready infrastructure aligned with city services

Key Responsibilities of Role

1. Support execution of strategic infrastructure plans aligned with city planning and service integration. 2. Manage detailed design and engineering of civil systems ensuring compliance with Indian and international standards. 3. Review and coordinate design drawings, specifications, and technical reports for accuracy and completeness. 4. Facilitate adoption of sustainable design practices and smart technologies in civil infrastructure. 5. Conduct feasibility checks, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize performance and cost. 6. Coordinate with master planners, engineering disciplines, and PMC teams for integrated design delivery. 7. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities on technical and execution matters. 8. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and permitting requirements in Mumbai and Maharashtra. 9. Monitor interoperability and technical compliance across city infrastructure systems. 10. Provide regular updates to the Head – City Civil Infrastructure and Advisor – Infra on progress, risks, and resolutions.

Technical Competencies

Understanding of Environmental Compliance,Software Proficiency in Primavera P6 STAAD Pro Smart City Platforms,Familiarity with municipal, state, and national standards ,Project Management Skills

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with master's in urban Infrastructure/Planning with over 15 years of work experience, including more than 10 years of independently leading functions in mid/large-scale organisations, preferably at a national level, within the real estate and infrastructure sectors, focusing on urban infrastructure, city services integration, and smart city projects, with strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and execution skill
