Role Overview: As a Head Chef in Bakery & Pastry at our premium cake store in Kolkata and Hyderabad, your role is crucial in ensuring the consistent quality and presentation of bakery items. With a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, your expertise in baking, bread-making, and pastry preparation will be put to the test as you lead the bakery operations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all bakery operations to maintain consistent product quality. - Prepare and innovate recipes for cakes, croissants, breads, pastries, and desserts. - Supervise kitchen staff, assign daily production tasks, and ensure efficiency. - Maintain hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times. - Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely procurement. - Establish baking schedules to meet production and order requirements. - Conduct training sessions for junior staff to enhance baking techniques. - Maintain quality control during ingredient preparation and final output. - Experiment with new bakery trends and seasonal recipes for product development. - Manage costing, minimize wastage, and ensure profitability.
