As the Head Buyer at Freakins, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product assortment of our fast-growing fashion brand. Your primary responsibility will be to curate collections that are not only trendsetting but also commercially viable. To excel in this role, you must have a deep passion for fashion, a keen eye for emerging styles, and a strong understanding of customer preferences. Your day-to-day tasks will involve leading assortment planning by closely monitoring trends and identifying commercial opportunities. You will collaborate with designers, pattern masters, and merchandisers to develop collections that resonate with our target audience. Additionally, you will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating with factories to optimize costs without compromising on quality. To succeed in this role, you must stay ahead of global fashion trends, continuously researching market shifts, and inspiring innovative collections. Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships will be crucial to ensure a seamless sourcing and supply chain process. Your ability to drive pricing, inventory, and markdown strategies will be essential in maximizing profitability while keeping our products fresh and exciting. The ideal candidate for this position should have 8-12 years of experience in fashion buying, particularly in denim, bottomwear, and fast fashion. You should be deeply passionate about fashion, fabrics, fits, and patterns, constantly seeking inspiration to create iconic collections. Your strong commercial acumen and data-driven approach will guide you in making stylish yet profitable decisions.
