Job Description

Role Overview: As the leader of the Business Review Cell (BRC) function, you will play a crucial role in enhancing financial governance, conducting thorough business performance analysis, overseeing internal audits, managing risks, ensuring compliance, and establishing robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Finance & Accounts department. Your efforts will directly contribute to strategic decision-making processes and enhance operational efficiency throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular business reviews with stakeholders to monitor financial and operational performance. - Analyze variances in revenue, costs, and profitability, and provide actionable recommendations. - Prepare management reports, dashboards, and strategic insights to guide leadership in making informed decisions. - Lead internal audits of processes, financial transactions, and compliance parameters. - Identify control gaps, prepare audit reports, and ensure timely closure of audit observations. - Strengthen internal control frameworks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and corporate governance standards. - Develop, review, and implement SOPs for key Finance & Accounts processes to standardize operations, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance. - Define and implement KPIs to monitor and improve performance across Finance & Accounts functions. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate process effectiveness and governance standards. - Collaborate with various teams for data collation, analysis, and alignment. - Support leadership with ad-hoc analyses and decision-making metrics. - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing BRC team. Qualification Required: - Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or MBA in Finance. Additional Details: The candidate should have 10-15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance, particularly in the FMCG sector. Additionally, a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing business reviews, internal audit, compliance, SOP, and KPI development functions. Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong analytical and process improvement skills. - Expertise in internal audit, risk management, compliance, and financial governance. - Experience in SOP development and KPI implementation within Finance & Accounts. - Business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities. - Effective communication, presentation, and influencing skills. - Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and financial analytics tools.,
