As the Head of Design, your responsibility is to lead and oversee the development of innovative and sustainable design concepts that enhance airport infrastructure and passenger experiences. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design excellence aligned with business goals. By leveraging industry best practices and advanced technologies, you aim to create flexible, future-ready environments that optimize operational efficiency and support the airport's growth and sustainability objectives. Your key responsibilities include continuously assessing industry best practices and emerging trends, developing strategic design concepts for projects, analyzing key business drivers for design, and creating strategic plans to positively impact operational and financial performance. You will manage consultant relationships, oversee design delivery strategies, drive operational excellence, collaborate with internal stakeholders, manage project lifecycles, and ensure budget management and financial sustainability within the design department. To qualify for this role, you should have a Masters degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field. Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) are advantageous. With 18+ years of experience in architectural design and urban planning, including experience in Greenfield project development and planning & design management of various projects, you will lead an in-house design management team, foster a culture of high-quality design delivery, and promote the adoption of advanced digital tools and technologies to enhance design processes. Key stakeholders you will collaborate with include internal teams such as the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Planning & Design Officer, Chief Project Officer, Senior Management, and various other departments within the Adani Group. External stakeholders include Urban Planning Authorities, Real Estate Developers, Design and Business Consultants, Construction Contractors, Environmental Regulatory Bodies, and Community Representatives.
