Head - Accounts & Taxation (For Well Known MNC)

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and Monitor over day to day accounting
• Ensure timely completion and accuracy of month end activities
• Review financial statements and ensure FS in compliance with companies Accounting Manual and local accounting policies Balance Sheet Reconciliation reviews and sign off to ensure the integrity of the balance sheet
• Develop, implement and monitor controls, processes and policies over working capital management and cash flow forecasting including monitoring over Receivables and collection, Payables and payment, as well as inventory turnover.
• Liaison with Banks for Import payments, getting Bank Guarantees and credit limit renewals
• Review foreign Currency Exposure and take appropriate actions to minimize group hedging costs.
• Work directly with Asia Finance Controller for reporting and Internal control compliance requirements.
• Ensure India entities operate under an appropriate financial control environment in accordance with group policies and procedures
• Develop and implement local policies and procedures as necessary where a departure from group policies and procedures is required
• Drive continuous improvements in systematic controls and transactional process efficiencies including implementation of automation projects
• Liaison with Statutory and Group Internal Auditors, driving for timely completion of audit, and ensuring timely closure of audit points
• Oversee all aspects of external compliance including fiscal and statutory reporting, VAT and TP etc.

• Manage Direct and Indirection taxation, Payroll and Statutory Compliance Mgmt.

• Manage and motivate team to deliver high performance.

Preferred candidate profile-

Candidiadte qualification background should have Qualified CA.

Candidiate should have 8 - 12 years of experiance is mandatory.
