Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Executive Taxation to join our Finance and Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with GST, TDS/TCS compliance and general accounting principles along with the ability to meet strict statutory deadlines. You will play a key role in ensuring timely filings, accurate data management, and adherence to statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. GST Compliance & Filing

• Prepare, review, and file monthly and annual GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, and ITC-04
• Manage annual reconciliation and filing of GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
• Conduct ITC reconciliation with GSTR-2A/2B and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle GST notices, queries, and coordinate with consultants.

2. Direct Tax (TDS/TCS) Compliances

• Strong working knowledge of TDS/TCS applicability, sections, rates, and exemptions.
• Calculate and deposit monthly TDS/TCS before statutory due dates.
• Prepare and file quarterly returns: 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, and 26EQ.
• Generate and issue Form 16 / Form 16A to vendors and employees.

3. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions including Purchase, Sales, and Journal entries.
• Support books closing activities (provisions, depreciation, adjustments).
• Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure books remain audit ready.
• Ensure compliance with the MSME Act for vendor payments and reporting.
