HCL DX Developer

Now Hiring: HCL DX Developer (Remote | 5–10 years of experience)

We are looking for an experienced HCL Digital Experience (DX) Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain enterprise portals using HCL Digital Experience (DX) / WebSphere Portal
• Build portlets using JSR-168 and JSR-286 standards
• Create and manage content and workflows using Web Content Management (WCM)
• Integrate with external systems via RESTful APIs, SOAP, and implement SSO
• Ensure secure development through effective user role and access control management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions
• Deploy and configure applications using WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements using front-end technologies

Required Skills:

• 5–10 years of experience in HCL DX / WebSphere Portal development
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSR-168, JSR-286 portlet development
• Solid experience with WCM and workflow tools within HCL DX
• Front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Integration experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and third-party systems
• Understanding of portal security and authentication mechanisms
• Experience with WAS for deployments and configurations
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Certifications in HCL DX, WebSphere, or related Java technologies
• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular)
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments
