Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for HCC Medical Coders at our Chennai location. The responsibilities include accurately coding medical records using standard coding guidelines, reviewing and analyzing medical documentation to assign appropriate HCC codes, ensuring compliance with health information management standards, and staying updated on changes in medical coding practices. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to validate coding and support improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Medical Coding and a strong understanding of Medical Terminology
• Certified coding credentials such as RHIT or an equivalent qualification
• Knowledge in Health Information Management practices and standards
• Ability to apply Coding Experience using standard coding guidelines
• Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
