Hardware Support Engineer

Role Overview: As a laptop/desktop technician, you will be responsible for providing troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services for laptops and desktop computers. Your duties will include diagnosing and fixing hardware issues such as motherboard, screen, keyboard, and battery replacements. You will also troubleshoot and resolve software problems like operating system errors and malware issues. Performing system configurations and updates to ensure optimal performance will be part of your role. Additionally, you will install, configure, and upgrade components and software for laptops and desktops. Regular preventive maintenance checks will also be included in your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Provide troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance services for laptops and desktop computers - Diagnose and fix hardware issues including motherboard, screen, keyboard, and battery replacements - Troubleshoot and resolve software problems such as operating system errors and malware issues - Perform system configurations and updates for optimal performance - Install, configure, and upgrade components and software for laptops and desktops - Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks Qualifications Required: - At least 1 year of experience in laptop/desktop repair Additional Details: This is a contractual/temporary position with a day shift schedule. The work location will require you to be present in person.
