Server Hard Support Engineer and Datacentre Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting,
and upgrading hardware and operating system environments. This is a critical role that involves 24/7 responsibility to ensure system stability and availability.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot HP, Dell, and Lenovo servers and enterprise storage systems.
Perform hardware diagnostics, part replacement, RAID configuration, and firmware updates.
Monitor server/storage health, resolve hardware faults, and conduct preventive maintenance.
Manage data center activities, including rack mounting, cabling, power management, and asset documentation.
Coordinate with OEM support for warranty/RMA cases and maintain service records.
Support OS installation, basic virtualization setup, and hardware-level performance issue resolution.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of server architecture, RAID, disks, memory, NICs, and controllers.
Experience with SAN/NAS storage, iLO/DRAC/Lenovo Xclarity management tools.
Good troubleshooting abilities, along with effective communication and documentation skills.
