Hardware design engineer

· Design and develop power electronics hardware including power supplies, MPPT controllers, and battery charging systems.

· Create schematics and PCB layouts (up to 4 layers) using tools such as Altium , OrCAD, Eagle, etc.

· Candidate must have strong knowledge in electronic component selection.

· Deep understanding of power converter topologies: buck, boost, fly back, AC-DC converter, DC-DC converter, etc.

· Hands-on experience with on-grid inverters including design, testing, and troubleshooting of inverter hardware.

· Handle new product development independently including hardware design and prototyping.

· Perform testing and validation of new designs to ensure performance and reliability.

· Debug and troubleshoot hardware and PCB-level issues during development and testing.

· Conduct magnetic component calculations (transformers, inductors, etc.) as part of the power circuit design.

· Use lab equipment such as CRO, LCR meter, power analyzers, etc., for measurements and validation.

· Maintain design documentation and BOMs.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering.

· Minimum 3 years of experience in power electronics hardware.

· Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.

· Good knowledge of digital and analog circuit design.

· Familiarity with power components: MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers, transformers, etc.

· Experience in working with DC-DC, AC-DC converters, battery chargers, or solar MPPT systems.

· Hands-on experience with test and measurement instruments.

· Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
