Salon Manager Job Description

We are looking for a salon manager who has to see a salon's operations by managing staff, scheduling, inventory, marketing, and finances to ensure a smooth and profitable business. Key responsibilities include training employees, handling customer service and complaints, managing daily operations and cleanliness, and developing strategies to attract and retain clients, ultimately creating a positive environment for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Train, schedule, and supervise salon staff, ensuring adequate coverage and resolving internal conflicts.
• Operations Management: Oversee daily salon operations, ensure cleanliness and hygiene, maintain equipment, and manage opening/closing procedures.
• Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service, handle client complaints, build customer relationships, and create a welcoming environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order beauty products, and manage retail sales to ensure products are well-stocked.
• Financial Management: Process client payments, track income and expenses, manage budgets, and prepare sales and financial reports.
• Marketing & Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies, promote services and products, and manage the salon's social media presence.

Essential Skills

• Leadership & Communication: Ability to guide and motivate the team, and communicate effectively with staff and clients.
• Organizational Skills: To manage staff, operations, finances, and inventory efficiently.
• Financial Acumen: Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, managing budgets, and tracking finances.
• Beauty Industry Knowledge: Understanding of salon products, services, and industry standards.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve customer complaints and staff disputes professionally.
• Experience: 3-6 Years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
