Job Title: Guidewire Rating Developer (Configuring)

Location: Remote

Experience Level: 7—10 Years

Must-Have Skills:

•    Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Policy Center and Rating configuration  In-depth understanding of Rating flows, Rate books, Rate tables, Rate routines, and Premium calculation

•    Experience in Guidewire configuration and integration development

•    Ability to analyze and troubleshoot rating-related issues and recommend solutions

 Familiarity with Gosu programming language and Guidewire's product model

Responsibilities:

•    Design, configure, and implement rating logic in Guidewire Policy Center

•    Develop and maintain rate books, rate tables, and rate routines

•    Collaborate with business analysts and actuarial teams to translate insurance product requirements into technical configurations

•    Perform premium validation, impact analysis, and optimization of rating components  Ensure rating configurations are scalable, reusable, and align with Guidewire best practices

•    Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in existing rating implementations

•    Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities

•    Document configuration solutions and support transition to production environments

Nice to Have:

•    Guidewire Certification (Policy Center Configuration or Rating)

•    Experience in Agile/Scrum project environments

• •    Prior experience with insurance domain (especially P&C)
