Guidewire Policy Center Config Developer - Senior Manager

Role Overview: At PwC, as a Guidewire developer, you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organisations. You will play a key role in optimising operational efficiency for clients by implementing software solutions and providing training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in Guidewire products in PolicyCenter - Configuration - Proficiency in one of the streams - Configuration / Integration / Conversion - Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform including Gosu scripting, UI, and Data Model - Good understanding of Webservices, XML, and ant script - Experience with Oracle / SQL Server databases and expertise in SQL - Familiarity with SCRUM Agile methodology, preferably Certified Scrum Master (CSM) - Knowledge of servers such as Tomcat / JBoss and Web services - Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in software architecture and design patterns - Experience in team leading, code review, and mentoring, with at least two Guidewire implementations - Additional skills preferred: Thunderhead / MuleSoft Integration, GIT / SVN / DevOps, cloud technologies like AWS / Azure - Strong written and oral communication skills - Scrum or SAFe or other Agile delivery ways - Understanding of the insurance domain Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree - Minimum of 15 years of experience in Java - Oral and written proficiency in English Additional Details about the Company: At PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you will actively support various services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax, and Business Services.
