Guest Services Officer

As a Guest Service Officer at AirAsia, your role is to maintain the highest level of safety, security, and service standards for ground operations. Your responsibilities include: - Ensuring smooth daily operations by Guest Services at Check-in counter, Gate Management, Arrival Hall, and preparing daily operations reports. - Properly planning staff before the start of operation by updating them with necessary information, briefing and de-briefing, assigning staff to designated areas, and ensuring all tools are sufficient and in order. - Ensuring the check-in counter is open 4 hours before departure time and that all systems like conveyer, BHS, Tubs, and FIDS are running before opening the counter. - Monitoring staff movement, discipline, and reporting to the superior for further action. - Reacting to any delays and informing the Supervisor on duty to take necessary action. - Ensuring all SOPs are implemented according to GOM (Ground Operations Manual). - Complying with Airline Standards, Safety performance, applicable laws, and procedures in all locations where operations are conducted. Your traits should include being friendly, mature, humble, honest, and meticulous; a self-starter; able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment. Proficiency in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia, or the local language where staff is located is required. You should be able to maintain high confidentiality, be tactful and discreet when dealing with people, possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work on shifts.
