Guest Service Associate (GSA)

Guest interaction and service

• Welcome and seat guests: Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus.
• Take orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders, including special requests and dietary needs, and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Serve and present: Serve food and beverages promptly, and clear and reset tables after guests depart.
• Ensure guest satisfaction: Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues professionally.
• Process payments: Handle guest bills accurately and process payments (cash and credit).
• Upsell and promote: Promote menu items, specials, and other offers to maximize revenue.

Operational and back-of-house support

• Coordinate with kitchen: Communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and product availability.
• Maintain cleanliness: Ensure the dining area, tables, and service stations are clean and well-organized.
• Prepare for service: Assist with setting up dining areas and preparing equipment, linen, and condiments before service begins.
• Adhere to standards: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies, including food safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• Perform closing duties: Complete closing procedures such as restocking and cleaning.
• Assist other outlets: Support other F&B outlets during peak times if needed.
