About Us:

We work for a US-based Company, Harris Freeman, which is home to a portfolio of heritage tea brands that are transforming into success stories.

Our India HQ is in Kolkata, and our team is passionate about growth, performance, and optimisation. We are seeking a GTM Executive to join and strengthen our existing GTM team.

Position Overview:

The GTM Executive will support the procurement and logistics functions for tea sourcing and distribution. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, tracking orders, managing documentation, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and timely flow of materials from source to destination.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Support

  • Assist in placing and tracking tea purchase orders as per sourcing requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm product availability, pricing, and shipment timelines.
  • Facilitate sample evaluations and maintain detailed product specifications and records.

Logistics & Inventory

  • Monitor inbound shipments and liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and warehouse teams.
  • Update and maintain accurate inventory data in internal systems, flagging any discrepancies or delays.
  • Support warehouse coordination for goods receipt and stock movements to ensure optimal inventory levels.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date records of supplier contracts, certifications, and communications.
  • Ensure all sourcing and shipment processes comply with food safety, organic, and sustainability standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Quality, Finance, and Sales teams to align procurement activities with business demand.
  • Participate in process improvement and cost optimisation initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience in procurement or logistics, preferably within the FMCG or food industry.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and data management tools.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills.
  • A keen interest in tea, sustainability, and global sourcing will be an added advantage.
