Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our SCM team as Deputy Manager Supply Chain Management . The candidate will be responsible for leading supplier management, material planning, and inventory control functions to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Roles and Responsibilities: Manage SCM Parts Section and oversee all supplier schedules. Handle supplier management activities including vendor evaluation, performance tracking, and improvement. Plan material requirements and ensure uninterrupted supply to production lines. Monitor inventory levels and control material aging to optimize stock. Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals. Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams for effective material flow. Drive cost optimization through efficient planning and supplier collaboration. Analyze SCM data and prepare MIS reports for management review. Ensure compliance with company policies and support process improvement initiatives. Foster strong relationships with suppliers to enhance reliability and performance. Key Skills Required: Strategic thinking and analytical skills in material planning Sound knowledge in supplier and vendor management Expertise in logistics and inventory management Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems and MS Office Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Desired Candidate Profile: Qualification: DME / BE (Mechanical) Experience: 10 - 15 Years in SCM / Supplier Management / Material Planning Age: 35 40 Years Gender: Male Preferably from Automobile / Auto Component Industry
