GST Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented GST Consultant to manage and ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filing returns, advising on GST matters, managing audits, and staying updated with the latest legal changes in GST laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)
• Conduct GST reconciliations with purchase and sales registers (GSTR 2A/2B reconciliation)
• Advise on GST implications on various business transactions
• Manage GST audits and assessments
• Assist in responding to GST notices from tax authorities
• Stay updated on amendments, circulars, and notifications under GST law
• Coordinate with external auditors and government authorities
• Support clients or departments with GST registrations and amendments
• Implement best practices to improve GST compliance and reduce tax liabilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (CA/CS/MBA preferred)
• Proven experience as a GST Consultant or similar role
• Strong understanding of GST laws, rules, and procedures
• Proficiency in GST software/tools and MS Excel
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and client-handling abilities
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
