Position Overview GSOC Supervisor :
As a GSOC Supervisor, you will be at the helm of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) for client at the Hyderabad facility. You will lead real-time security operations, supervise a dedicated team of operators, manage physical security technologies, and ensure swift response to critical incidents.
Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining the safety, security, and business resilience of a globally distributed corporate environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Team Supervision & Leadership
- Manage daily GSOC shift operations and ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the GSOC operator team.
- Prepare shift rosters, manage attendance, and organize ongoing team training.
- Promote a high-performance culture centered around accountability, service excellence, and proactive response.
2. Operations Management
- Oversee routine monitoring, alarm response, and access control procedures.
- Serve as the first point of contact during emergencies, coordinating with internal departments and external emergency services.
- Ensure all operations adhere to ServiceNows global security protocols and SOPs.
- Drive the implementation of standard practices in security communication, threat reporting, and escalation.
3. Incident & Emergency Management
- Supervise incident detection, assessment, and documentation.
- Initiate and lead emergency response procedures (e.g., fire, evacuation, threat alerts).
- Escalate threats to designated stakeholders using platforms like ServiceNow, Everbridge, and Ontic.
- Maintain clear and accurate logs, reports, and follow-ups for all incidents.
4. Technology & Systems Oversight
- Monitor and manage the performance of CCTV, access control, alarms, FACP panels, and radio/telephony systems.
- Troubleshoot faulty systems and coordinate with technical teams for prompt resolution.
- Lead initiatives to enhance system capabilities and reduce alarm fatigue.
5. Alarm Management
- Manage and respond to real-time alarm triggers across multiple platforms.
- Identify and investigate false alarms and repeat faults; implement corrective actions.
- Optimize alarm routing, prioritization, and response protocols for greater efficiency.
6. CCTV Surveillance & Threat Intelligence
- Oversee CCTV monitoring for threat detection and investigations.
- Collaborate with investigation teams by sourcing footage and providing analytical support.
- Integrate CCTV feeds with other security systems for coordinated monitoring.
7. Cross-Regional Coordination
- Provide support and backup for the Americas GSOC team as per the rotation or escalation matrix.
- Align incident response and escalation procedures across regional GSOCs.
8. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports including:
Alarm statistics
Incident logs
Equipment status
Shift summaries
- Ensure compliance in documentation of thefts, break-ins, and safety breaches.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to system uptime and alarm response.
Candidate Profile
Eligibility Criteria
- Gender: Male preferred (not mandatory).
- Age Range: 30 - 40 years.
- Background Check: Clean criminal record, CIBIL Score 750.
- Appearance: Neat, corporate grooming mandatory.
Education
- Graduate in Security Management, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Certifications such as ASIS APP/CPP are advantageous.
Experience
- 14 years in a GSOC environment or similar critical security function.
- Hands-on experience managing high-pressure situations and critical security technology.
- Prior work with multinational clients preferred.
Technical Proficiency
- Platforms: ServiceNow, Everbridge, Ontic, Lenel, Genetec, MS 365.
- Equipment: CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Monitoring Systems, FACP Panels.
- Systems: Incident Reporting, Badge Auditing, Video Management Software.
- Communication: Fluent English with neutral accent (mandatory).
