Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused GSA - Housekeeping to join our team in Mysuru, India. As a Guest Service Associate in Housekeeping, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel rooms and facilities.

  • Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping
  • Replenish guest room supplies, including toiletries, linens, and amenities
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or malfunctions to the supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaned rooms and productivity reports
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service to guests
  • Adhere to safety and security procedures at all times
  • Take initiative to personalize guest experiences through attention to detail and anticipation of needs
  • Maintain guest privacy and safeguard their belongings during the cleaning process

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Warm and caring personality with a customer-focused attitude
  • Good communication skills in English and local languages
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to anticipate and proactively address guest needs
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
