Job Description

As a Group Finance Reporting Manager at EY, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and IFRS standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing journal entry processing, maintaining the Chart of Accounts, leading month-end and quarter-end close processes, reconciling intercompany transactions, and supporting asset management and revenue recognition processes. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: - Ensure accurate and timely journal entry processing aligned with internal controls and compliance requirements. - Oversee Chart of Accounts maintenance and ensure system consistency. - Perform balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of balances. - Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes in collaboration with finance teams. - Coordinate intercompany reconciliation processes and ensure accuracy in group consolidation reporting. - Support foreign currency translation processes and compliance with accounting standards. - Assist in Group consolidation processes and preparation of consolidation journals. - Manage asset capitalization and depreciation schedules in accordance with Group policies. - Support asset disposal and impairment reviews and ensure appropriate accounting treatment. - Ensure revenue recognition compliance and proper documentation of contingent income elements. - Lead the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures. Functional Competencies: - Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial accounting standards. - Experience in general ledger accounting, consolidation, and financial close processes. - Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools. - Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-currency environments. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Qualifications and Experience: - Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent qualification is mandatory. - 10+ years of experience in financial reporting and consolidation within a global organization. - Prior experience in the insurance, broking, or financial services sector is preferred. - Strong understanding of IFRS and experience in applying accounting principles to complex transactions. - Demonstrated ability to work with global teams and deliver results across time zones.
