Description
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial functions. Your responsibilities will include strategic financial planning, risk management, compliance, treasury, taxation, and people leadership. You will be a key member of the leadership team, providing financial insights to inform business decisions and support the Group's growth and digitization agenda. Key Responsibilities: - Present monthly and quarterly financial performance, profitability trends, and forecasts to the Management. - Provide strategic financial insights into dealership KPIs such as Shop Absorption, Gross Profit per RO, Inventory Turns, and RoS. - Collaborate with OEMs on compliance, reporting, and performance alignment. - Identify and lead initiatives to improve revenue realization, service efficiency, and customer retention profitability. - Lead the preparation, monitoring, and review of annual operating plans, budgets, and rolling forecasts. - Establish and enforce robust internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate and statutory policies. - Oversee dealership-level risk management, including credit risk, capex approvals, and funding structure optimization. - Evaluate new business proposals from an ROI perspective. - Ensure timely and accurate monthly closings, GL maintenance, and financial reporting in accordance with Ind AS. - Supervise statutory, internal, and tax audits; ensure audit readiness and resolve audit findings effectively. - Manage dealer working capital, OD limits, stock hypothecation lines, and capex financing. - Ensure efficient fund utilization, cash flow forecasting, and timely settlements across multiple locations. - Foster strong relationships with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for optimal funding. - Oversee accurate computation and timely filing of all direct and indirect tax returns. - Lead tax planning and optimization while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws. - Handle GST reconciliations, tax assessments, and represent the group in front of relevant authorities. - Lead and mentor a multi-location finance team; build a high-performance, accountable finance organization. - Design and implement SOPs and tech-enabled workflows to streamline financial operations. - Champion automation and digitization of financial processes, MIS reporting, and analytics dashboards. Key Qualifications & Experience: - Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory; additional qualifications like MBA (Finance) or CFA are a plus. - Minimum 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of Ind AS, taxation laws, dealership accounting practices, and financial systems. - Proven track record of financial leadership, stakeholder management, and process improvements.,
