Group Accountant

You will be working as a Group Accountant for Systech, a leading global construction consultancy that focuses on delivering value for clients on major infrastructure projects worldwide. As the Group Accountant, your role will be crucial in overseeing the financial day-to-day operations of UK & Europe and International Finance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare monthly and annual accounts and reports for UK/EUR, APAC, MEA, and Americas regions. - Manage Group statutory accounting and reporting, including year-end consolidation processes. - Support Systech advisors in the preparation of tax returns and act as a central point of contact for the Groups Finance personnel globally. - Manage the Group budgeting process and consolidate group budgets. - Report monthly actuals versus plans within the monthly Management Accounts. - Ensure timely issuance of Group billing to clients by Calendar Day 5 each month. **Qualifications Required:** - Qualified with management accounts experience, preferably with ACCA / ACA or CIMA certification. - Experience in statutory reporting for an international company, including the consolidation of annual accounts. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Attention to detail and quick problem-solving skills. - Adaptability and flexibility in approach.
