Job Description

Key Responsibilities of an Airline Ticketing Agent: (Need experience candidates in same profile )

  • Booking and Reservations:

     Assisting customers with finding flights, making reservations, and managing bookings. 
  • Ticketing:

     Issuing flight tickets (both electronic and paper) and handling ticket modifications, cancellations, and rebookings. 
  • Customer Service:

     Providing information on flight schedules, fares, routes, and travel policies. Addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and handling complaints. 
  • Payment Processing:

     Managing payment transactions and ensuring accurate documentation. 
  • Compliance:

     Ensuring all ticketing operations comply with airline policies and regulations. 
  • Documentation:

     Checking travel documents like passports and visas. 
  • Coordination:

     Collaborating with airlines and other travel partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth travel. 
  • Stay Updated:

     Keeping up-to-date with airline policies, fares, and industry news. 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer Service Skills:

     Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Attention to Detail:

     Accuracy in handling reservations, payments, and documentation. 
  • Knowledge of Airline Systems:

     Familiarity with reservation systems (GDS like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) and ticketing platforms. 
  • Knowledge of Airline Policies:

     Understanding of airline rules, regulations, and fare structures. 
  • Problem-Solving:

     Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively. 
  • Stress Management:

     Ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations. 
  • Teamwork:

     Ability to collaborate with colleagues and other departments. 


Salary - Up to 5.5 LPA + other benefits
